Initial conversation: What we need to know about you
At the first appointment, we will talk to you in detail. You will tell us what is causing you pain and whether you or anyone in your family has had any previous illnesses. This will help us to better understand your symptoms.
Good to know: Please bring all reports and images from previous treatments with you.

Investigations: We take a close look
To find out what is wrong with you, we will examine you thoroughly. To do this, we use, for example:
- X-ray images
- Bone density measurement
- Blood tests
- ECG (heart examination)
and other devices.
When we look at all the results together, we know more precisely what is going on.

Result: What you have and how we can help
After talking to you and examining you, we will tell you what is wrong. Sometimes there may be several possible causes – in which case we will look closely at what is really causing the problem. This often requires a great deal of experience and sometimes further tests.
Our goal: to give you a clear answer so that we can choose the best treatment.

Treatment: What we can do for you
Now it's time to alleviate or cure your symptoms. There are many ways to do this, for example:
- shock wave therapy
- natural remedy
- Acupuncture
- Operations
- Special insoles for shoes
- Chiropractic therapy (targeted manual techniques for pain relief)
and other procedures.
Our greatest wish: that you feel better after treatment.
How much does the treatment cost?
Treatments you have to pay for yourself
Some treatments are not covered by health insurance. This is because insurance companies only pay for simple and inexpensive solutions.
Example:
- Treatment with X-rays is covered.
- You pay for modern, radiation-free treatments such as shock wave therapy or acupuncture yourself.
If you would like this service, we will inform you in advance about the exact costs.
Treatments covered by health insurance
Private health insurance companies
If you have private health insurance, you settle the bill directly with your insurance company. Which costs are covered depends on your contract. Upon request, we can provide you with a cost estimate in advance.
Statutory health insurance funds
We are authorised to work with all statutory health insurance funds. You will receive all treatments listed in your insurance fund's catalogue of services. Some insurance funds also pay for special services – we will let you know if this is possible for you.
Treatment following an accident at work
If you are injured at work, statutory accident insurance (through the employers' liability insurance association) will cover you. This ensures that you can recover quickly and return to work.
In Flörsheim, we have everything we need to do this. There, we treat patients as specially licensed doctors for occupational accidents.
We can also provide initial treatment at other locations and then plan further treatment together with the specialists in Flörsheim.
